It’s just about fall and that means it’s time to do all the fun fall activities! Whether you’re parents or single adults looking for fun ideas to get in the fall spirit, we know a few great ones that everyone will love! Take a look at some of our fun fall activities.
Go for a hike
There’s something magical about hiking in the fall. If you have a travel a bit to get there, or you live nearby, find a trail where you can enjoy the fall foliage and breath in the cool, crisp fall air.

Hayrides are something everyone can do and are certain to have a good time. Hayrides are best in the fall when you can ride around an apple orchard or a pumpkin farm.
Go apple picking
If you took a hayride at an apple orchard, don’t forget to pick your own apples! We love this for the fall because the apples are always so much tastier during this time of year, especially if you’re in the right destination.
Take a scenic drive
There’s nothing better than hoping in the car and going for a drive around – especially when you’re driving in some of the most beautiful places in America. When it comes to fall, you can get that anywhere, whether it’s the Pacific Coast Highway or the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Drink hot apple cider
Need we say more? This perfect fall drink will warm your belly and make you feel like fall has finally come around again.
Carve a pumpkin
Kids and adults like both love to carve pumpkins, it’s a great activity to get anyone in the fall spirit. If you’re looking for additional ways to get creative, you can try some no-knife pumpkin decorating.
Whether you just want to roast them, or make full on s’mores, roasting marshmallows is perfect around any campfire or fireplace – and the best time to have a campfire or use the fireplace is during the fall and winter seasons!

Which brings us to our next fun fall activity – build a campfire! Invite all your family, friends and neighbors to gather around a good campfire. Tell stories, drink hot chocolate and yea…roast marshmallows!

Watch holiday movies
Even though all the holidays aren’t in fall, watching the fun holidays movies, while wrapped up in a blanket on the couch on a Sunday will definitely get you excited for the season.
